My only real disagreement is with regard to signing an expensive vet OG such as either Thuney or Scherff. I just don’t see either as affordable to the Rams. I see the Rams either signing a 2nd tier FA or just rolling with a player already on the roster. Probably Corbett or Evans (if Hav wins back the starting RT spot.

Time will tell us how the Rams feel about their OL situation.

I can see other approaches to the OL situation. A 2nd tier FA is one of them as is going with one of the young guys.

As far as what is affordable, that's a matter of choices. My plan essentially signs a top guard versus retaining one of Littleton and Fowler.

IMO, pairing a top guard with the young pieces we already have nearly ensures that we have a top 5 OL next year and going forward. OTOH, I feel that with Matthews and OBO we can withstand the loss of Fowler. With a draft focused on defensive players I think we can replace both Fowler and Littleton.

But yeah, how they feel about their OL situation is the issue of the offseason. Everything pretty much rides on that assessment.
