Restructure Goff, yes. No on extending Ramsey.
Peters just signed an extension for $14M. Ramsey has a rep of being much better so he's not likely to resign for an amount that lowers this years cap hit of $13M.
If they restructure Goff's entire 2020 roster bonus of $21M, they can free up $16M of additional funds this year. But here's the thing, it will cost them down the line. It puts an additional $5M in salary on the 2021, 2022, etc cap hits for Goff which means it would be that much harder for them to retain the players they want to keep out of Kupp, JJ, and Everett.
Point being, everything they do this year has to be seen in context of future years too.
