I like the idea of either FA guard... the injury history of Scherff gives the edge in preference to Thuney although to too read that Thuney is not as strong in the run game and the Rams so desperately need some of that toughness.
IMO there is so much uncertainty with the OL and there is no way the Rams can just stand pat with what they have. Trading Havienstein is the right move and I don't think we have much choice but to resign Blythe but drafting a center/guard seems smart to me
I do appreciate the effort here tho' man... good stuff
I always look to see where you are on this stuff.
I'm not following...
Are you thinking the Rams should make MORE OL moves than I have here? Assuming they did trade Hav and sign Whit, Blythe, and Thuney/Scherff, that's not enough to have a strong OL next year?
To be clear, I would looking for a better center in the draft but other than that, who's the weak link where they could clearly upgrade? Of course they could also be on the look out for an OT who would compete with NB for the starting LOT spot in 2021 but the draft would essentially be for depth and the future.
Thanks for the feedback!
