I agree with most of what you posted but your line above here is the essence of my current frustration with him.

I know he's under pressure this year. I've been bangin' that drum as loud as anyone. I just posted some stats from PFF on that in another thread.

But what's bothering me this season is, no, I haven't noticed that when he has time it's almost always on the money. I've seen too many times this year where he has adequate time, it's not a deep ball, but the throw is off somehow usually high.
