I get that when there is criticism of THE key player on our favorite team, things will get contentious. But can we all keep in mind that we're all Rams fans and debate in a respectful manner with each other?

Your phrase above, 'must have drove you nuts...' is plain disrespectful and condescending. There is absolutely no need to insinuate or imply in any manner that he's not a Rams fan, that he's not happy when Goff does well and the team succeeds.
Further, there is nothing here indicating that he's celebrating Goff not doing well.
All he said was, "Goff has statistically been one of the worst QB's in the league for almost a year now." That's either a fact or it isn't.
It's perfectly fine to present some facts disputing that. But there's no need to attack his fandom.
You're a great fan and really good for this board because every board needs someone who is optimistic and always in the Rams and players corner. But other perspectives are also needed and welcome.
I may be speaking out of turn by even saying anything but I'd hate to see this board devolve into a civil war.
