First off, there is no way you know absolutely that Florio is sincere. You just don't know for sure. Its like would you bet your life that anyone you don't know personally is sincere about anything they say? I appreciate that you believe he is sincere, but just as much as I believe others believe he isn't.
And the numbers do mean something. I don't care who the coach is, they just don't take any average QB and make him a 100 rating QB. And Goff has been over 100 rating since his 2nd year in the NFL when he was 22 years old. If that's what someone is assuming McVay can do then they are delusional, assuming they are sincere.
Of course I don't know, which is why I ended it with this is my opinion and I stand by it. But then the more accurate thing to say is that no one honestly knows if he is
INsincere either, so you have to wonder why the namecalling.
In terms of your last paragraph, when it comes to Goff, you're preaching to the president of the national association of choirs.
Except the "delusional" part. I don't agree with that. I know it's just strong language, but I can believe that someone who comes to a different conclusion than I do about something associated with the Rams can have a valid view, just not one I accept, or that I think will hold up.
I think the more obvious thing with Goff is that his final games in 2017 and 2018 show that he has to become more consistent, which is a young qb thing. I would be surprised if he DIDN'T stabilize and become more consistent, but it also has to happen....me believing it will is not enough.
