Robinson was a collaborative pick, just like all the McVay/Kromer/Snead picks are too.
Plus the Rams were set in 2014 to trade up for Zack Martin. The trade fell through only after Dallas picked him one slot before the Rams trade partner's slot (Baltimore, picking 17th, right after Dallas).
Besides, since 2016, Rams have really only had 1 first round pick, a 31st. That was in a draft where the 2nd through 4th rounds were going to give them linemen pretty much just as good as anyone they would seriously consider taking at 31.
