Interesting to read everyone's comments, as its a though I've been having for awhile now about QB and other Star players to be honest.
I know its controversial to ask the question 'when is enough enough for one person' especially when there is a salary cap and playing a game that is ultimately a team game. Is $30 enough for almost anybody in a lifetime.... sure unless your aspirations are equally big.
Then there's the often stated counter to that, 'it's market forces, they should get paid what they can'............
except there is only so much Cap Money to go around for a whole team. If the QB's take every thing they can it looks as if there will be less and less for other players.
So I wonder, when will a QB come out and say, 'yes I could of gotten £35m a year but that means I wont have as good an OL blocking for me, or keep the best WR I need to throw to, or the Defence will be under powered so /I'll never win a championship?
Personally I'd like to see the minimum wages for all players raised significantly, because all these guys put their body on the line for the game.
