While I think Mccarthy was a subpar coach that lived off Rodgers making up for his mistakes, Rodgers should have found a way to make it work better and is at fault for not working on making the relationship better.
The real problem here is the upper management for sticking with McCarthy so long. All of this should have been nipped in the bud after the Seattle playoff loss at the latest.
The article looks bad on Rodgers, but I still say, he is the greatest player in NFL history. Playing under a bad coach, he want to the playoffs 8 years in a row and won a superbowl.
To Boot, his quarterback rating is the BEST IN NFL HISTORY. and the eye ball test says HE IS THE BEST IN NFL HISTORY.
Football is a team sport and he hasn't had the weapons in years and he has never had a good coach. SWAP Belicheck for McCarthy and Brady never wins any superbowls and comes no where close to the 8 years in the playoffs that Rodgers put up in these bad circumstances.
