Way too many moving parts to project with any reasonable certainty who will be where based on performance, health, and acts of God.
It’s commonly thought that the Pats have top tier OL coaching, yet the paid their RT. And he’s still not rated as high as Havenstein.
It just doesn’t hold water zn. Hav is playing at a very high level. I don’t agree that it’s a better idea to jettison him and expect anyone they pick up on the cheap to play at the same high level. It may happen, but there is still a risk that it doesn’t. The Rams are paying to mitigate that risk.
