Fred Miller, John St. Clair, Kyle Turley, Grant Williams, Alex Barron, Adam Goldberg...reminds me of the famous Mark Twain quote: It's easy to quit smoking...I've done it a hundred times.
RT's are NOT relatively easy to find.
Leaving aside the fact that Fred Miller was a good ROT, both in St.L and in Tenn.
All the others are bad, and the primary thing revealed there is that they came in in regimes famous for lots and lots of bad personnel decisions.
That reflects on Martz and Zygmunt, not on ROTs.
In fact I take that as a stunning indictment. How bad were the Martz/Zygmunt years at personnel?
They were SO bad they couldn't even find a solid ROT. THAT is how bad they were.Truth is right now the Rams ALREADY HAVE a solid if not more than solid ROT candidate, unless he turns out to actually be a LEFT OT replacement, which is even better (Noteboom). And that was after just one year of trying.
Plus Kromer has never fielded an OL with a poor ROT, going back years, and often the guy he played at that spot did nothing before him and never did as well after him.
It's honestly not an issue. Look around the league. Solid ROTs are just not hard to find.
