Show me any sort of evidence that indicates Hav has the talent of a top OT. ....
His play on the field.
Many players have all kinds of talent but aren't tops at their position....cause despite their talent they can't play at a high level.
Who cares if Rob isn't fleet a foot and super athletic....he flat out can plat at a high level.
He did exactly the same thing at Wisconson....looked like a cinder block played like a top right tackle in the nation.

And if as I said his play on the field is the result of a solid player being maximized by a top coach---then no he is not unexpendable. Kromer can find another guy who like Hav is solid, smart, and coachable---and is NOT inherently a top talent
If you can find another guy (which is relatively much easier at ROT) then why give a big contract to THIS particular solid and coachable ROT.
Here's why this is even an issue.
You only get so many top contract guys under the cap. If you sign one guy you eventually lose another. And odds are, the guy they lose because they signed Hav plays a position that is harder to replace (especially for Kromer) than ROT.
I care that Hav is not fleet of foot and super athletic because it means he can be replaced by ANOTHER solid ROT who is not fleet of foot or super athletic, and is also smart and coachable. ROTs who fit that description are not rare. If Kromer did it with one (and really it's a long list going back several years and more than just one) he can do it with another.
And then you can spend a big contract on a player at another position that is typically harder to replace.
Signing Hav means you let that other guy go eventually.
