With Suh, I think both sides have intended this to be a one year relationship all along. Agree that Joyner could very well be gone but if free safety is their biggest concern entering 2019 that is ok..

Agree with all of this except I see the Whit part differently. You don't think it was significant that Whit just restructured his contract?
I'm not sure the Rams do that with him if he's planning on this year being his last.
We don't know how he re-structured it. Convert salary into bonus money? Give money back? So if we don't know what happened, it's hard to say what it might mean.
