Remember the Pats or Giants game year ago...I think it was the Pats...where the Pats were behind in the waning moments of a game.....
and Bellichex wanted to get the ball back for Brady.... so, Bill ordered the defense to "let" the offense score a TD. I can't remember what happened, I think they lost anyway, but i thot that was a very interesting strategy....that was certainly not in the spirit of play on a tactical level...but it was on a strategic one.
I see you kinda saying the same here...whether tongue-in-cheek or not..and I wonder if there might not be something too it...
or maybe parts where that strategy might be used. Interesting thot experiment...so thnx.
