McVay might just be a trendsetter regarding the starters in PS. He’s more than capable of being ahead of the curve on such a matter.
But let me ask a non-McVay question about not playing starters in PS, then. Why have 4 PS games in the first place?
I’ve long questioned this, anyway. Has McVay shown that so many PS are unnecessary?
Why not 2 PS games followed by 18 regular season games? With the other modifications outlined in other threads?
