Enh. He demonstrably got his facts wrong. Trying to fluff him up doesn't answer that charge.
He has far less idea what he's talking about when it comes to this one issue than the well-informed fans here, among other places.
Regardless where you think he "lives," he does not cover the Rams, and it shows. He's equally responsible for 32 teams and therefore does not know as much about individual teams as the best informed fans of those teams do.
Again--he has demonstrable errors in his knowledge of this issue. Trying to pump him up as an individual and making it about the person does not address that.

Just because he differs from your own opinions does not make the above 3 assertions of yours the least bit true. That could be just your own personal bias(es).
And this guy does have 10 more years of professional football contract negotiation experience than you and me combined. So, there is that.
One last thing. It’s not a big stretch to assume that a national coverage guy would be well informed on a player such as AD? Or an ascending team such as the Rams? C’mon...
