I read this article before. I can't put much stock in it since it relies on meaningless metrics from pff to generate an opinion piece. Generating a pass rush from the interior defensive front is a priceless commodity. If you have one player that can do that solo and blow up backfields you have a rare bird indeed. Succesful franchises do not stay successful by letting the single best player in the entire league (at any position) walk.
