I am so glad that both sides are keeping the negotiations out of the press. But if they were meeting I would expect a vanilla comment once in a while, like "we met yesterday and found common ground on a couple items" or "we're meeting this weekend and are hopeful of making progress". It's the absence of even those types of comments that has me thinking that they're not even meeting at this point ... and I don't really think it's because they've broken off negotiations.
