I keep AD around as long as i can if im the rams without extending him for more than $21 mill per year. i just do not think it is in the team's best interest. we have too many good players we need to extend. look, the rams are going to be a popular destination going forward, good team, wonderful weather & nightlife, innovative coach, etc.... we will not need to overpay like we did in stl era to attract top talent. see suh talib, etc... players are not going to dismiss the rams because we played hardball with ad. ad apparently is looking to reset the market for dt's. or maybe his agents are. in either case, ad does not hold the cards, he can come to the able and work out a mutually beneficial long term deal, or we can slap the tag on him next few years and let him hit open market after his prime years are behind him. whatever rams are offering is not something to sneeze at. ad should step up and sign a team friendly deal. it is in everyone's best interest.
