If you're right then this is a great pick. JL was a very consistent player. He is the Rams all time leading tackler. He was good dropping into zone and he usually was in on the tackle. What I didn't like about JL was he was often dragged down the field before getting a runner down. Kiser looks like a heavier tackler to me. If he's as smart, durable then we got a steal.
That strikes me as a very accurate description of JL. And Kiser, too. Looks like you and ZN see him the same way. My take from his videos and a coupla games is pretty similar.
I DO think the Rams got a steal with Kiser . . . and OO, especially.
