Hollywood Ram
In fantasy football AO was a pro bowler, I stand by my statement. He is not a pro bowl LB full stop.
You also have to take into consideration the fact that he had more opportunities than lots of LB due to the how few plays the Rams inept offense ran in 2013 and 2014 (near the bottom in the NFL both years). In fact that were in bottom 3rd of NFL for offensive plays in 2013 - 2016.
I go by what I saw, and also what NFL scouts liked about him and the stats reflect that. And I have never, nor will I ever play fantasy football.
Anyway, as for more "opportunities" from 2013-16 (years you picked for some reason), the Rams ranked 14th in defensive plays. They were middle of the pack, basically, so he got more opportunities than about half the others and had FEWER than about half. No significant different.
Now, the two years he was a full-time OLBer 2013-2014. In THOSE seasons Rams were 24th in defensive plays allowed—near the bottom. So, he had fewer opportunities than 23 others teams and more than 8.
Given that. he crushed the competition in the categories I mentioned, FF and passes defended, he crushed it, doing it with fewer opportunities (thanks for pointing that out). He had 10 FF in those 2 years TEN. Those are big plays, he had a 98-yd pick six he defected 21 passes.
I am not saying he was without mistakes, but he was a guy making big plays and those count, big time.
He was a near Pro Bowl OLBer. Full stop. and he did it in fewer opportunities than most others.
