What we need is guys like Brockers and Johnson and Saffold.
so that again shows, good players taken higher. And as far as Pro Bowlers, it does not have to be Pro Bowlers, just
Pro Bowl quality like Brockers, Saffold, Chris Long, Alec Ogletree (Pro Bowl quality as an OLBer in a 4-3), Joyner (2nd round, Pro Bowl quality), etc
But it also includes Hav and guys like that
Pro Bowl was just a search term in order to do the research on Pro Football Reference...so don't get hung up on that, there was no other way to make the point quickly. I wasn't about to grade hundreds of players, so I just used the search engine on PFR and Pro Bowl is the only line of demarcation.
So, let's return to the point: Rounds 1 and 2 are where the really good players are taken. Rounds 3-4 you can find some gems, no doubt, but there is zero doubt that the odds go down of finding really good players the further down the rounds you go,
