Some great input from many posters in this thread.
I’m gonna just do a simplified list from 30,000 feet.
First, the short term impression:
I trust Wade, but I must say that both OLB positions make me nervous until at least Ebu convinces me with his play. The other side looks like a hole to me. So, OLB is a present time high priority need, IMO.
ILB is only slightly behind until I see otherwise on the field. I’m probably overthinking this, but still...
In terms of needs for 1-2 years down the road, some of which they can and should start plugging in the ‘18 draft:
Get that LOT in next year’s deep draft.
Start drafting (in no particular order) RB, interior OL, TE, QB, NT (Suh is only a one year rental), CB (Talib is a 2 year rental), and S.
Take the BPA and let the draft come to the Rams. These would all be depth and/or developmental players, anyway. S&M have done an absolutely beautiful job of plugging holes this offseason.
Except for maybe OLB.
All in all, I love our roster status for both ‘18 and ‘19, at least. And as the man once said, “The future is Now”.
