We have few guys now that are KNOWN knuckleheads as you call them but very talented players. It's always easier to like and over look things when they are "your" knuckleheads lol. However, how many other knuckleheads are there in the NFL that just weren't caught doing stupid stuff or are only jerks behind closed doors? How many are already on the Rams? I would guess there are quite a few lol. I would bet the majority use drugs or are involved in things we would rather not know about.
Peters: Temper issues. Don't really care. Some would say he is just passionate about winning. As long as he isn't costing us games, I am ok. Donald also has temper issues having been ejected from a game, yelling at officials and tossing his helmet.
Talib: Seems to have that "thug" attitude that so many NFL players have these days. I wouldn't call him a dirty player but things like ripping off another players chain is a "thug" move.
Suh: Also seems to also have a temper issue but that is one of his "qualities" (if you want to call it that lol) that makes his game so good like hitting extra hard. slamming the QB down a little rougher than most. Except for stomping on peoples faces, kinda reminds me of the aggression that Deacon Jones played with. Deacon used to purposely "smack" a player in the head so hard he would almost knock the guy out. They eventually had to "ban" his famous move.
I think you need "some" knuckleheads on your team. You definitely need your D to be aggressive and intimidating ala all of Jeff Fisher's teams and even the fearsome foursome was very aggressive. If your winning, it's easier to forgive. IMO, keep the aggressiveness on the field, don't beat women and children or old lady paraplegics in wheel chairs and don't cost your team games and I am ok with you. Oh yeah, win some games too!
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
