Guys, we have already acquired 3 guys who have been considered to be problems and are apparently considering another. I don't follow this stuff--they weren't Rams so I haven't largely cared--so I dunno how to assess the degree of the challenges these guys pose.
But I do have a question for you. To what extent do you, as a fan, respond significantly to the issue of character for members of teams you follow?
I'm thinking here of things other than competitive issues. Not whether a jerk makes your team better or worse or wins or loses games through behavior. But how you respond to a guy being a jerk ... and on YOUR team?
Define this however you wish and I'll answer later. But I'd be curious how jerks on your team would affect, at least temporarily, your feelings about the team. What do you think?
Speaking only for myself, it bothers me. In fact that was one of the things I didn't like about the Fisher regime. Finnegan, guys acting out...etc.
And, I have no idea how these 3 will behave. I don't think anyone knows. They could be just fine. Maybe one acts up.
I like to take pride in the team and see them act with class. I don't like things that tarnish that.
