it be a great deal. imo
We get a better CB than is probably in this draft...(which is what we were most likely gonna draft at #23 if one fell anyway)
and we get 2 cheap years to test him out in our scheme/coaches & locker-room. His talent IS undeniable and he's prolly better than any guy we coulda drafted at #23 anyway. IF the Rams got away with giving up less for Peters...that's a win right there...even if it's a 2yr rental cuz it frees money for the next 2 yrs to re-sign our own FAs....which is a HUGE deal.
It's a killer move...even it it IS our #1...it's still a killer move for us. Peters will want big money his next contract and has to be very good to show he's worth the bucks he'll want in 2yrs....heck, we may even get him to like the "We not me" thang and he may wanna sign a long term deal before then (5th yr??? I dunno) ....but like the Watkins deal....it's an amazing opportunity to get talent like that.
Think how good Woods was last year after being avg in Buffalo...where a player plays and the type of coaches he plays for...MATTERS. Perhaps, a new change may do him well....or maybe not! We'll see.

I still can't believe it's not for our #1...I woulda dealt Quinn in a swap no problem...and they didn't...meaning they are being very creative with the compensation and making it very plain that Quinn is one of Wade's keystones in this defense. imo
