I believe him and feel IF the Rams come to him with a reasonable contract and promise him more involvement in the offense...he will sign.

Money will NOT be the driving factor IMO

HOUSAND OAKS, Calif. (AP) — Sammy Watkins realizes the size of his next NFL contract depends partly on his numbers for the Los Angeles Rams this season.

The receiver insists he's more interested in the numbers in the Rams' win column.

"No, I think I've got enough money," Watkins said with a grin Wednesday. "For me, I just want to have fun and ball. I want to be a part of this team. It's a great team. I know where they're about to be at with Coach (Sean) McVay and his staff, and I just want to be a part and make plays, just score touchdowns and be a part of it."

Actually I remember him saying that and I never factored it in. SW offered the team a lot this season, and it would be nice to see him better integrated in the offense, and I am one of those who would like to see him signed, but, all season he had this way of saying the right thing in certain situations but I often got the sense it wasn't that real.

If he's a FA he will pursue money, I think.

It was nice of him to say what you quote here but I don't know how deep it really goes.
