Goff has one interception in 117 throws this year.
He has fumbled *once* in approximately 225 snaps.
He threw it 36 times today.
All due respect, but the 'McVay-didn't-have-confidence-in-Goff' theory is simply left-over negative energy from a full year-and-half of The Kid being savaged by the press and certain fans. Doesn't matter that he has taken all that noise and turned it on its ear.
To say that, imo, is totally reactive. And, also imo, without merit.
In my estimation, that decision to center up the kick for Z was McVay's way of telling the defense ... 'I believe in you.'
That's my belief.
