I think what everyone- me included- wanted to see was Goff and the starting offense play the whole first half vs. SD. That's 18 snaps Mannion and co. took that he (and Watkins) didn't. Every rep matters. But at the same time it's 18 reps. I still think it just comes down to McVay not being willing to play Goff in preseason behind the 2nd team OL.
On defense I'd like for Quinn, Webster, Barron and of course Donald to have seen action. But those are also all veteran players I don't think will be make or break based on PS playing time. Just how it worked out.
