For what the Rams would want in draft capital plus what the team that trades for him is going to have to pay to "keep him happy" ....I don't think there will be many team lining up for that deal... They've already seen what paying all that money to Suh has done for that Miami defense.... 29th rated defense in the league last year....25th the year before.
Suh is LDT, he plays both shade and 3-tech and he's nowhere near as quick as Donald, not as instinctive, Donald is rare but he fits best in a flop 4-3 and not many teams play that, Dallas is one. And in that he plays a ton of plays behind the LOS. More than anyone I have ever seen, more than Sapp in his first 3 years
or even more

Sapp's top year in stuffs was 7, he had 19 his 1st 3 years, Donald has well voer 30, and 28 sacks. Sapp had 22.5 sacks.
So in this special-type of DT, Donald is as good as there has been. So, with the change in defense, I suspect it will change. As I start to see more preseason I will chart the 4-3 teams and if they play flop or shift...and see if anyone may be trade possibilities
But, to you point: Yes, I think it could be very hard getting a trade. We need (1) equal value = min of 2 #1s and someone (b) who can afford to play him and (3) someone who plays a scheme that will maximize his skill set. So far I've identified Dallas an no one else
