Question. Is it going to cost the Rams more NOW or 2-4 years from now?
It's fascinating to me how so many here just do not understand this simple math.
Is this going to be a big number in 2017? Sure, but it's only going to be that much MORE down the road.
Also if the Rams truly don't want to pay him I'm fairly certain there are multiple teams who will so just trade him and move on.
There are all sorts of hints out there that it's the structure. Like the rumored opt-out clause.
I hadn't heard the opt-out rumor. It would be interesting to know the actual facts of all this but I guess the total truth will never be known.
Rumor is that AD's agent wants a 3 year opt out clause, RFIP.
So that he can hold the Rams hostage again in 3 freaking years!
That would be an insane deal breaker!
But if he signs a 5 year deal with all G jack in first 3 years then it's completely ok for RAMS to walk away after the 3rd year if they choose???
