Re: Signing an injury player long term is stupid...

August 12, 2017 07:26AM
Really only look bad if he goes down with the same foot injury. I mean any player can get injured

on any play. If it were me I would just wait and try to sign him if he stays healthy and plays well.

They can always tag him. (though if AD isn't extended then you have a tough call).

But with football and injuries it's always going to be a crapshoot. What happens if he plays great,

is signed to a 5 year ,85 million , 50 guaranteed and he hurts the same foot or has another major injury

in the next preseason game next year? Is there a statue of limitations on signing him long term

or is it always going to be a bad idea to extend him?
