I said it was nonsense, especially since his 3rd down sacks are above what would be expected. So stats don't even support the premise. Can't get worse than that.
However, in the new scheme, we may see him doubled more often. I don;t know that, we have to wait anf see, but scheme wise you can bump him with a guard who then goes to the ILBer and then block Donald with a center or tackle, who would be the primary blocker. Also, someone has to step up and rush the passer, Barwin, Quinn, etc so that Donald won't be doubled too much. In 2015 he was Doubled about 40% if that goes to 50, it cuts down on production and we have to hope those getting singled step it up...that's my concern. Not some bogus statistical analysis or some self-proclaimed "I am always right" type.
