My belief is that there was really nothing Fisher could do.

He had no viable passing game. There are a number of dimensions to that fact. And they virtually all come back to decisions he made over the years and going in to '16. (I hold Fisher responsible for a lot of it.)

But I am simply saying that, 4-5 games in, it was clear that the team had no capacity to compete in the passing game. And that fact undermined and rotted all the areas in which the team could actually compete.
