He's more of a glorified slot WR than true TE. His strengths are vertical, downfield play, not reliable short to intermediate target. And I think until Goff develops as an NFL QB, what he needs at that position is more Jason Witten than Jimmy Graham. Jake Butt comes to mind for me, assuming he's healthy.
