2) Agree that we should take best TE here. If Shaheen is avail at this spot, would you take him over Engram? Some mocks have Shaheen avail when we pick.
I like Shaheen more as I am a TE purist ... he's special. But I think he and Higbee have a lot of similar traits, so I wouldn't given this coach's ability to use a slot TE ... either way I think he comes off the board before that.3) What about doing a trade down here and pick up an extra fourth. We can pick up Elfein here and see which WR will slip to us at the top of the fourth.
I think it would be an extra 5th unless we traded down to the bottom of the round ... but I don't mind doing that and I am a fan of the wrestling star as our C.4) Hoping Hansen is still avail here.
His "playing on one side of the offense" may allow him to fall. I would be surprised given his obvious talent on tape.4 from trade down) I would get a DT earlier. We might be able to get DT Dalvin Tomlinson here.
I am not against that idea ... I just think there's a lot of depth beef in this draft ... not too many starters. Tomlinson is questionable ... no Bama player gets a ton of reps.4) CB Langley might be gone by now, if so but what about CB Kazee from San Diego State
I love Kazee, and was considering him ... as we may need a nickel if Joyner goes to FS. Also, he's local.5) & 6) LB's here sound reasonable. I like ILB Maybin. Trust you on OLB Biegel
Biegel I think is a 2nd round talent ... I have him just a hair behind Watt but with more actual experience playing the position.6) & 7) I would take flyers on TE Sprinkle and OT Leamon here. Grob might be gone next year and can't have enough TE's with McVay.
I loved Sprinkle but heard his interviews were horrible ... has to be an upgrade over Hemingway to be considered ... but if Saubert is around? I'm fine with any O line depth here too ... I just think there will be a lot of questionable players that can be had UDFA style.
