We can't be a team that just fired our HC who did not start the kid right away and had a very limited development approach and then turn and blame the kid for lack of polish and expect him to exceed and succeed where an Iconic coach had failed in 4 seasons. Would a better performing Geoff prove that he somehow was the reason for the past failures? It's like if he started all year he should have been able to save Fishers job and validates Fishers vision. It was never going to happen which is why many were not all that excited about Jeff drafting a QB. For all who loved Snead as much as they loathed Fisher even that context suggest that Fisher was more of the problem rather than the personnel drafted. If that is the case we need to table this in lieu of our current upheaval.
We may be frustrated and disappointed but we have no recourse. Being realistic and fair in these situations is no less uncommon than Goff's uneven Would be. I think big picture is more important now and we can afford to let it play out.
