Yahoo? That's it-veracity at it's finest. Any data on the poll? I.e. who were the pollsters, how many people actually polled, were they asked their opinion or given choices? The problem given choices is this. Many people have a deep emotional investment in these protests and believe its unpatriotic. So lets assume they have stopped watching football for the fact many here have posted -that being saturation. Not much emotional investment in "saturation " is there? So given the choice and one of the choices is Kap the person who has an emotional conviction is most likely to say "its because of Kap". That's what I mean by a "platform".Perfectly natural. Take away that and simply ask the responder "why do you think the NFL TV ratings are lower" ? Then the responses are likely to be something along the lines of . "The players are not as good; the game is no longer exciting, too many penalties have slowed the game, too much protection for the qb, too much concern over concussions,, too many games on tv" , free agency has ruined the game, teams can now move anywhere they want, what about loyalty to fans",blah blah blah.
