if Fisher is doing the right thing or not. I certainly 'hope' he is.... and what I'm getting at here is not 'sitting' Goff (that alone doesn't mean a thing I don't think)... but Goff's development. No, I do not trust Fisher to do 'right' by Goff, or most QB's. I don't think what I've seen from Fisher QB's inspires much confidence - does for others, not for me. And this isn't to say I think Fisher is a doofus, at ALL.
The NFL today is actually quite 'close' in parity. The difference today between success and failure, for the most part, is a very fine line. Just a 'slight' edge in all the facets that make up preparing an NFL team can make one team seem 'elite' and another 'cellar dweller'.
As for Keenum, I agree with what you say in this reply. I do not, however, feel confident that Fisher can clearly distinguish that time when a Mannion or a Goff, even with inexperience but more physical talent, can step in and provide a surer path to victory than Keenum. - JamesJM
