that's basically what I said, as far as the term. But for me that doesn't make it useless... as long as I know what the person means I'm good to go. It can be discussed quite easily, IMO, with that mutual understanding. Even if the person I'm discussing it with has a different definition than I do it doesn't matter as long as I know where he's coming from.
I think we all agree that the Ram's make the 'most' of Keenum, from their perspective that is... which may be different than our personal opinions. The problem isn't there... it's that, for me anyway, the 'most' from Keenum ain't what the 'most' from Goff is... or soon won't be.
Are we talking past one another?
Talking past each other a little bit.
No one would compare Keenum to Goff in terms of sheer physical talent and draw anything but the obvious conclusion there.
But then to me, that ignores the things that make Keenum successful
in his role (as a placeholder and #2). Because lord knows we have seen a long list of qbs who were not as good as CK as #2 qbs. What's the difference between CK and them? I think many people can't see that difference, which to me is entirely in his football smarts and football instincts and competitive ability to maximize who he is and what he can do.
