...for mentioning guys like Barnes and Matt Longacre. I saw the same thing but these guys just don't get many kudos. Thought several OL-men were solid for the most part. If I had to pick which area was dominant I would have to give my vote to the running game. D-Linemen were mostly uninspiring (except Longacre). Sims gets fooled by a basic end around and totally forgets the basic rules of playing the defensive end position. He does this a lot and is his Achilles heel. Roberson looked the worse out of the db's in my opinion. Let's hope things get cleaned up on D. I'm most worried about the safety positions; I don't have much faith in either of the current starters. Hopefully Tim got on TJ's arse about how he played!
I also can't give Reynolds any love because of that terrible attempt at tackling on the opening kick-off then not knowing where his feet were when trying to down the ball on a great save by Marquez!
Almost everything you pointed out I agree with on some level. Nice review of the game.
