I said this in another post in this thread but it bears repeating.
If you look at the top 10 teams in rushing attempts last year 6 were in the playoffs. If you look at the top 15 teams in rushing attempts last year 9 were in the playoffs. Of those 9, all of them also had top 15 ranked defenses. 6 of them had top 10 ranked defenses.
What I often see in terms of discussions about offensive approaches is preferences, not analysis. I gather from your remarks that you do not prefer run-heavy offenses (in spite of their success as an approach among playoff teams).
Often this means overlooking stats. For example in terms of passing percentage, in 2012 the Rams ranked 13th. I think in terms of pass percentage, with Keenum and a rookie, it will be more run-heavy; when Goff is up to it, they will be more balanced.
