I saw this on the board but haven't seen it discussed much. But the Rams had two practices in 16 days leading up to the Vikings game. I'm thinking maybe that had some impact on Stafford's performance.
It was clearly his worst performance of the season and statistically a dramatic outlier compared to his recent performances. Rather than just see a clunker (which it was) maybe we should consider why.
In the 4 games before the Vikings game he was 91 for 135 (67%) for 1,128 yards with 11 TDs and 2 ints. That's a passer rating of 114.1.
In the 3 games before the Vikings game he was 70 for 97 (72%) for 826 yards with 8 TDs and 1 int. That's a passer rating of 120.9.
