but wow, that was what? 24 25 years ago? And most I never saw again.... but a few I met again... both in St. Louis and SF. So I'll leave the 'naming' to those whose memory far exceeds mine.
What I do remember extremely well was the camaraderie. Herdfest will always remain one of the hi-lights of my life. For perspective, my point of view:
Until the internet I did not know another Ram fan. I had met a few that I semi came to know when I had season tickets at both the Coliseum... starting in 1973, thru their last year in Anaheim - but NONE that I got to know beyond just seeing them at the games.
My first 'internet' connect with Ram fans was on Compuserve.... moving onto I'm not sure where before finding our current home. So going to Herdfest was my first actual contact with another Ram fan beyond just a casual hello to a fan I recognized at one of the games when I had season tickets.
It was incredible. I think my first thought was, "Wow, I'm not the only Ram fan in the world".
Today there actually are a few, not many more than a handful, Ram fans in my area but none that I know well or see more than rarely.
