I first got a computer spring of 1999. Started posting on the Dispatch site, which I didn't like except for a few posters who seemed to know their football. One, zn, invited me to this site.
There was also another site with deep black background and bright blue and yellow lettering with just a ton of Rams info. I don't remember the name of it, Rampages or Ramzine or something like that. For a guy who grow up in a moderate sized town in Northern Indiana, and had to depend on short snippets of Rams news, this site and the other (limited) Rams sites were like heaven.
Growing up, I was jealous of southern Cal fans because they could get the LA Times. I also poured over all the summer pro football magazines---couldn't get enough of those.
