It's never been the Ram MO before when dealing with "declining" stars, but . . .
. . . maybe Kupp puts a dollar amount on keeping his family/self in LA and they rework his contract?
Again, they've never done it before, but could they be pressuring Kupp?
I've read the accounts from Joudan saying they haven't tried to restructure? . . . yet?
Like someone said above, why would the Rams take the Kupp hit ($) and then go spend more $ on a FA wide receiver?
Maybe they make the move and draft Egbuka, Harris, Loveland or Arroyo (and maybe Bech later?) - that makes some sense,
but if they move Kupp and sign another FA wide receiver (for big $) . . .
. . . it would feel like paying one "FA" (Kupp) WR to leave while paying another FA (we don't know who) WR to come to LA.
Paying Kupp not to be in LA and signing another adds up to HUGE $ for WR2.
Somebody help me out here?
