My ire towards the Players is because they are the EMPLOYEES of.........A GAME! Not life savers, Educators or world changers. Just Adults doing stuff kids do on a Playground. Absolutely nothing more. Just how arrogant is it to make such financial demands BEFORE you show your worth??? I'll tell ya what....YOU walk into your place of employment, go to your Boss, ask for a Position higher than yours that involves training and knowledge above your current level. And make a demand of just 200K and another 50K just for signing up for that position. Then please tell me just how far that flies. I was a Firefighter for 35 years. I never went into City Payroll and demanded gluttonous pay because the Mayor was making such. To do so is ENTITLEMENT. And my job had a helluva lot more value than a Game Player. And the old "My Career could end by injury" crap? BOO FREAKING HOO! I say ..Get an Education while at School. EVERYONE out there could lose their jobs tomorrow because of injury.
Somewhere along the line Society started accepting such attitudes. Anyone who thinks a guy playing a Playground game is somehow worth MILLIONS and I mean REALLY worth it?? I'm lost for words to explain.
Again...I ask ANY of you EMPLOYEES out there to make similar demands and get back with me. Tell me if anyone agrees with just how right it is. I'll be waiting.
