Most Gator games were on TV. The old Jefferson Pilot Sports Network used to carry games that ABC, CBS and ESPN wouldn't. Going to a game was usually $20 per game......FSU , Georgia and maybe UT games might be $60. It was NOTHING to catch 3-4 games a year, without season tickets.THESE days, you have to have Cable with extended packages such as SEC Network and a cheap game ticket is $40 for the Cupcake games. Florida / Georgia tickets are at least $300 now.
NFL....I used to go to Jags games for simply something to do. If Rams were in Tampa, Miami and sometimes Atlanta (Don't like Atl for road trips) I was there! And that was WITH going to 3-4..or more Gator games a year.
It's just getting harder n harder to enjoy something I have LOVED for 50 years. I'm just frustrated.
