You might not like to hear it, but it is so.
We are in the era of snowflakes. And we're in the era of sports writers who think more about how a player feels than how he plays or whether that player is to be held accountable for his performance. Who in the world talked about players getting their feelings hurt a few years ago, or a HC saying he should have handled things better so as not to hurt the feelings of a QB he lost confidence in? In fact, I think this has MUCH to do with Bellicheck being ushered out of NE. He has not been able to crack the code of this new generation of athletes.
McVay is in tune with it. He gets it, and he's OK with it.
And that is what is going on here...nothing else.
