I think we all wish the Goff issue would've been handled differently. In the end, it might have worked out in a good way too.
I think McVay has grown from how he handled the whole thing and I believe he would 100% do it differently today. I think this whole thing might have made him a better HC.
I also think it helped Jared as well. He felt "slighted", as he should've, and I think it might have lit a fire in him that drove him into doing whatever he has to to be a better QB. I think he has done that in Detroit and is a better QB because of the whole thing.
For me, the Goff/McVay story line is just as interesting as the Stafford/Detroit story. It would've been even better as the NFCCG with a SB on the line!
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
